A View into the Hereafter

The trilogy 'A View into the Hereafter' is the first book title by Jozef Rulof and as such an excellent way of becoming acquainted with his writing mediumship. The trilogy has been built up around the basic principle for the grow of our spiritual conscious: 'There is life after death'.

In the foreword of the first edition Jozef Rulof wrote: 'The publication of this book has the aim of giving humanity the conviction of it's - in a higher form of existence - continued existence after the physical death. Therefore not only 'life after death' but the very concrete continued existence of the human personality as spirit. The 'spirit' is hereby not a vague concept or a by-product of the brain, as earthly science describes it.

Those who came back from the Dead

Those who came back from the Dead

The second title by Jozef Rulof, 'Those who came back from the Dead' is likewise an excellent way of becoming familiar with his series of books.

Jozef worked for some time as a healing medium. Under the guidance of his spiritual leader Alcar he healed many people. He could also help by his healing aura other people who were almost at the end of their earthly life during their last days on earth. As a result of his clairvoyance he could often have contact with these people during and also after their death on earth. In the book 'The Bridge to Eternal Life' we read how three of his patients came back to Jozef after their death in order to tell him and humanity about their experiences.

The Cycle of the Soul

Published in 1938  •  335 pages

The Cycle of the Soul

The first two titles by Jozef Rulof 'A View into the Hereafter' and 'The Bridge to Eternal Life' present the first principle for the development of our spiritual feeling and thinking: there is life after death. In 'The Cycle of the Soul' we become acquainted with the second foundation: reincarnation. Jozef Rulof received this wonderful novel in three parts from the spirit Lantos.

In the first part Lantos tells about his last life on earth, which took place in France during the Middle Ages. As a boy his 'born' feeling for art already comes to the fore. He is a celebrated sculptor, but is not happy because he cannot live together with his childhood girlfriend Marianne. When he sees Marianne again in difficult circumstances, he commits a serious crime. As a result of this he ends up in the dungeon. As a result of the exhaustion of his body he becomes more and more sensitive in his prison to the invisible world.

The Origin of the Universe

Published in 1939  •  590 pages

The Origin of the Universe

The wonderful trilogy 'The Origin of the Universe' is the highlight in the first series of five titles which Jozef Rulof received mediumistically from the masters of Light from life after death. This trilogy continues to build on the foundations of spiritual science as they were described and explained in detail in 'A View into the Hereafter' (the reality and nature of our spiritual continued existence) and in 'The Cycle of the Soul' (the impact of our previous lives on our inner emotional life).

'The Origin of the Universe' gives a comprehensive picture of the origin, the development and the destination of all life in the universe, and human life in particular. This picture was given by the highest masters, who made a study of all life, and who could penetrate to the very first origin of life.

Between Life and Death

Published in 1940  •  375 pages

Between Life and Death

'Between Life and Death' is the sixth title in the series which Jozef Rulof received mediumistically. The book is a compelling novel about the temple life of the priests of Ancient Egypt. The historically true story takes place in the temple of Isis, approximately 4000 years ago.

Through the book we get to know Dectar as a priest in this temple. This temple life is one of the most important previous lives of Jozef Rulof. In that life he got to know and conquer the magical powers, and in this way laid the basis for his later mediumship. For the life of Jozef Rulof these powers had sunk to his subconscious, but Alcar - the spiritual leader of Jozef - used those powers from the subconscious to build up the mediumship. As a result of his temple lives Jozef could reach a height in mediumship which is seldom shown on earth.

Spiritual Gifts

Published in 1946  •  525 pages

Dutch cover of Spiritual Gifts

'Spiritual Gifts' is the seventh title in the series which Jozef Rulof received mediumistically. It was written by master Zelanus, whom we got to know as Lantos in the third title 'The Cycle of the Soul'. Master Zelanus is the highest astral pupil of master Alcar, Jozef's spiritual guide. Zelanus studied life on earth and in the hereafter for nine centuries, and 'Spiritual Gifts' contains his deep analysis of parapsychological phenomena and powers.

In this book master Zelanus gives a detailed analysis of all the grades of mediumship. All the gifts which Jozef Rulof possessed are explained in detail in just as many chapters: writing mediumship, speaking under inspiration, the psychic trance, mediumistic painting and drawing, spiritual clairvoyance and the healing medium. In addition, the following supernatural phenomena, among others, are treated: communication with the cross and board and the planchette, spiritual photography, direct voice, materialisations and dematerialisations, levitation, apports, rappings and ghost phenomena.

Through the Grebbe Line to Eternal Life

Published in 1946  •  310 pages

Through the Grebbe Line to Eternal Life

Jozef Rulof also received this book mediumistically. He writes in the foreword: 'The intelligence, who passed this onto me, was brought to me by my leader Alcar. Alcar allowed him to tell about his life, about his dying on the battlefield during the May days of 1940 and about his entrance into the spiritual world. May this book also help to convince you of your eternal life.'

The spiritual writer who was called 'Theo' during his earthly life, was killed as a soldier in the trenches of the Grebbe-line in the Second World War. In the book the writer researches the reason which people give for waging war. The 'Thou shalt not kill' of Moses is kept in the light of spiritual science and weighed up against 'legal self-defence'. Are there situations where you may kill? Are there 'justifiable grounds' to be found for firing that shot? Must you let everything happen, or may you fight back? Is an armed action spiritually permissible? Must you fight for your fatherland? Is the example of Christ on Golgotha meaningful, or can 'exceptions' be acknowledged? Questions which Theo asked during and after his earthly life, and to which he found an adequate answer to in the spiritual life.

The Painting Mediumship of Jozef Rulof

Published in 2002  •  240 pages, full colour

Dutch cover of The Painting Mediumship of Jozef Rulof

'The painting mediumship of Jozef Rulof' contains a unique collection of drawings, water colours and paintings of one of the greatest mediums of the twentieth century, Jozef Rulof. Jozef said that he did not paint himself, but that his body was taken over by spiritual painters who died on earth. These painters wanted to show the world by means of his body as a human 'medium' that they are still alive and that they have kept their talent for painting.

Despite the fact that Jozef Rulof did not receive any education whatsoever in art, in this album you can see a rich diversity of painting styles, each developed individually to a great height. According to Jozef this remarkable diversity and depth can be traced back to the different 'masters in art' who could bring their art to earth again after their death as a result of his mediumship.
