The Last Stage

The other thing I read in The Origin of the Universe was about the last stage before the spiritual consciousness.
Can you figure out that yourself? I see it right here before me on page 24 in plain Dutch.

It happened while Alcar was telling André about a friend of him. That friend balanced between two worlds, the material and the spiritual, but in nothing he was aware. In him were many feelings, he sought and wanted to possess, but he kept searching and entered unaware in the spiritual life after his death. He had the same attune (or attunement, I don't know) like thousands or millions of other people. They want to, but don't get anywhere. Whatever they create, it doesn't come to perfection. They try to create themselves a state of being on earth, but whatever they do and accomplish, it doesn't give them satisfaction.

It is so deep that man cannot accept it because he will face a mountain of sorrow and disability. They can search for light and God, but this miracle, this force will push them down again and again. It is the silent force that breaks them. This is the law of cause and reaction, Karma.

That is the very last transition to spiritual consciousness.
How does that coincide with your ideas on the subject. Mine were rudimentary, I tell you that.

Another thing that Alcar said was that once those people reach that elevated state of being, the soul establishes something, no matter how tiny that may be. That man then knows what he wants and cannot be stopped in anything. He is aware of his behaviour and goes on, on and on, and is not distracted by anything.

Every man (or woman) once arrives in that state of being where he does not know how to act. That is the half-awake consciousness.

Spiritual Awareness For Free

I just received a message from the publishers of Rulof's books that these books are available again. That's good news.
The company went bankrupt a few months ago so they couldn't be sold for some time. Everything seems to be all right now again.

I've read most of them.
On internet they offer one book of Rulof for free in PDF form. It's 'The Cycle of the Soul'. In Dutch language but in due time it may also become available for free in English.
It's is a very good book about twin souls, reincarnation and the eye-opening simplicity of karma. It was the first book I read by Rulof and it really shook my head apart; not my world. It was so straight and recognizable for me that I didn't even questioned if the story was true or not. I looked around me and I immediately felt it to be true. This was the stuff I had been waiting for.

You can also buy the book in regular paper format. I find them not very expensive.
They are working on it to get them available in English and in PDF format. The PDF versions are great. You can copy and paste text from it and of course search for specific items. That makes it so much easier to find things compared to looking up in the paper books.

The Issue of Understanding

This may sound like an open door when I say that you cannot read Rulof's books when you are not ready for them, but if so what could be the reason for it?
In the books themselves Alcar discussed this matter a few times.

Can you read these books without any condition apart from being able to read and having enough common sense between your ears?
No! You can not!

It comes down to your state of karma and evolution on earth.
I have to narrow this down to only those people that want to read Rulof's books but don't succeed in doing so. So I am not saying anything about everybody that's not interested and busy with other things. I can only speak for myself.
Moreover, there are also people reading Rulof's books that don't experience any problem at all reading them and can continue reading them until the last line of the last book. There are not too many of them, I'm sure of that, but of course there are such people.

So what I am saying in fact is that there is a category of people interested in spiritual matters, trying to read Rulof's books, but somehow fail to complete reading them.
And what I am also saying, as I understand from the explanations given by Alcar and Zelanus, is that the reason for that lies in karma that still has to be solved or that the person's evolutions hasn't progressed far enough.

How can I say that?
I can say that because I have been one of the people of that category myself.

Years ago I began reading Rulof's books and, like I said before, I was very enthousiastic about them because I knew those were the books I had been waiting and looking for.
When I read 'The Origin of the Universe' I had a hard time reading it, but I did succeed to complete it because I so much wanted to. However, when I got to the Cosmology of Jozef Rulof it got more and more difficult for me to continue reading.
How did that happen? Why could I not just go on reading like I wanted to? I tried and I tried but no matter how much I tried I couldn't go on. I couldn't understand what stopped me and no matter how much I tried I couldn't bring it up and couldn't focus enough anymore.
As I understood in that time it was a lack of 'love' to go on with it.
Therefore I finally stopped at the second chapter of the second volume of the Cosmology.

On the first page of that chapter, The Seven Divine Degrees of Life, master Zelanus wrote that if there is no love in you the master on the other side will first have to explain to you the 'learning to walk', the proceeding on the other side, and with it the thousands of laws for 'Soul and Spirit' to learn to know yourself so that you will finally get your spiritual consciousness in your own hands.
How is that 'brother'? Can you tell me about that?
Further on in the Cosmology, volume three of four, they said that if your karma is not fullfilled, or solved, that that will hold you down from going on with these books.
At that time I refused to accept that having enough 'love' is vital and wanted to read on. No mandatory conditions for me, I'll decide about that myself. But whatever it was I didn't make it to pass chapter two. I shrunked.

So now I have left the books for what they are for about 10 years and I have continued with my life. At the beginning of this year, 2007, I finally decided to give it yet another try to read the Cosmology and to my great and very unexpected surprise I didn't have any problem at all reading it. I was astouned that I could read it right up to the fifth volume without any mental problem at all!
Looking back now on those 10 years that have past I have to admit that there have been a number of things that had to happen in my life that could be explained by karma or gaining more love.
It's beside the issue what those matters have been. They will stay private. But there have happened some significant things that more or less changed my character or just things that I needed to do.

So obviously, people that have enough love, as meant by the masters, and don't have any karma to fulfill will not have this problem. But those people are not so widely spread because if they were the world would be such a much better place to be. Simple enough, right?

There is also another interesting thing they mentioned.
When people read the Cosmology they are taken on a trip through the Universe. They said that lots of people will not be able to do this for the reason that the Earth will not let them go.
The Earth keeps people captured that are not finished.

So, wether people are not able to read the Cosmology, or when they have passed over to the other side and cannot fly into space like they want to, the reason for that could be the Earth won't let them because they haven't finished things on this planet.
I found that very interesting.
And now, now that I am ten years further on with my life, I can say from my own experience that what they said has indeed applied to my own situation.
